Meet Our Staff

Executive Director
Trinity Buchanan
FLOC has given me a home somewhere I was worried was going to be so big that I was going to be lost. My favorite memory from FLOC was making and decorating pancakes with my FLOC family and just being able to bond in a casual environment. It gave me the opportunity to make friends better than I ever have.

One of my favorite memories from FLOC was at our winter retreat, building a small fort out of tree branches in a dried up pond, then having someone collapse it all on me while I was underneath.

Director of Internal Operations
Nicolas Hernandez
Once, my floc family entered an exquisite, homemade, vegan, gluten-free pazookie into a floc baking contest. While we were robbed of first place, we were not robbed of our pride. Later, I drowned my failures in five slices of pazookie.

Assistant Director of Service
Anthony Bragg
My favorite memory was driving around college station with the homies, trying to get some coffee, when this beautiful picture was taken.

Assistant Director of Service
Hannah Tschirhart
I’ll never forget the day my fish died, so naturally, I text in the floc group chat that I would be holding a funeral outside of wells hall that night. Nearly 20 friends showed up to support me, a couple people even had speeches and poems written out. Even though it was kind of silly at the time, I don’t think anyone knew just how much it meant to me.

Assistant Director of Meeting Coordination
Katie Collins
One of my favorite memories is when we had to run away from a fellow floccer’s roommate, because we unwittingly broke into their dorm room, while they were home. To make matters worse, we had chucked three backpacks through the doorway, like explosives. When fleeing the scene of our crime, we lost one of our accomplices. Once reunited, we had a collective panic, fearing retribution or arrest. But looking back, jail time would have only made us closer.

My favorite thing about floc is how floccers hang out everyday. No rain, no broken down car, no empty bank account, no broken bone will keep us from hanging out in the MSC. Iconic.

Choosing a favorite memory in floc is not easy. Between the Waffle House trips, daily MSC hangouts, and all the stuff we do during the summer, my favorite memory would probably be the trip to Lake Bryan.

Assistant Director of Social
Veronica Knipp
My favorite memory was a family trip to Santa's Wonderland. We all rode the mechanical bull, and watching everyone go was pretty funny (especially when someone fell off ) :) The kettle corn was also really good.

Counselor
Arya Kunjappa
My favorite memory in floc is when we went to Lake Bryan to play kickball and hang out. This helped me grow closer to other staff members and freshmen which I’m now so happy to say are great friends.

Bilal Shoukry
One of my favorite memories is playing chubby bunny during the first meeting and almost dying from marshmallows.

Counselor
Brianna Dorotik
Through FLOC, I have met so many friends that helped make my freshman year unforgettable. From playing intramural sports, baking competitions, and adventurous scavenger hunts, to hangouts at the lake, FLOC fosters a community of friendship and great memories that I will cherish for a lifetime.

Counselor
Nathan Guindon
My favorite memory from last year has definitely gotta be our amazing softball playoff run. That whole season was dope, and I enjoyed all of our intramural sports. FLOC was just too good at every sport and dominated.

Counselor
Travis Byrd
In the spring semester, we would spend a few hours in the commons every night, and I really enjoyed getting to hang out and watch movies with everyone.

Counselor
Bella Bartholomew
My favorite part of floc was leading the volleyball team to every dub we took. And watching Zach chest bump the ball and still get the point. And watching Bilal fumble the bag.

My favorite floc memory has to be when about 10 of us planned and attended a fish funeral for Hannah’s beloved pet. RIP Pluto we know you’re swimming in the stars <3
